We’ve invested in professional construction to ensure your rehearsal time is high-quality and focused:
Built for Volume: Engineered with double-wall construction and double-layer drywall to minimize sound bleed between rooms.
The Gear Grind Made Easy: Dedicated load-in ramp and on-site equipment carts. Move your backline from the van to your room with ease.
The Specs: 24/7 Access (Outer Fob + Inner Keypad), climate-controlled ventilation, dedicated electrical outlets for every room, and high-speed Wi-Fi.
Security: 24-hour video monitoring in a managed, professional facility.
Financial Peace of Mind: Your rent is not only affordable but also CAPPED for 3 years. We believe in stability for artists, so you never have to worry about surprise hikes.
Artist Freedom: Paint your space. Make it yours.
The Full Ecosystem
When you rent at BHAMS, you are entering a full-service creative hub:
The Hourly Suite: A fully equipped, plug-and-play room for rehearsals and quick sessions.
Studio 101: Access to our recording studio. Studio time is FREE (bring your own engineer or hire one of ours).
Live Support Program: We back your shows with street-team advertising, professional photography/video, and free multitrack recordings of your live sets.
Instruction & Networking: Three dedicated lesson rooms, a community networking board for musicians and artists, and our Free Instrument Lending Library.
Where Your Rent Goes: The BHAM Mission
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Your rent doesn't just pay for four walls—it funds the future of music in Whatcom County:
Sliding Scale Lessons: We provide music education to everyone who needs it, regardless of their financial situation.
Livable Teacher Salaries: We value our educators. BHAMS teachers earn a livable salary and are paid their full rate even when a student’s lesson is free.
Community Equality: By practicing here, you are directly funding instruments and professional instruction for local students in need.
